Welcome to Dead Centre Gaming and thank you for visiting our webstore.

We are in the early stages of launching this store, and at this point our focus is on bringing you all the latest releases from Games Workshop. We want you to be able to rely on us to secure your pre-orders!

But how did we get here...?

We are Declan and Nikka, a married couple located in the Highlands of Scotland, and at the end of lockdown we bought a ceramic painting studio in our hometown of Grantown-on-Spey. Shortly afterwards, while painting some Warhammer at home in the evening using a rubbish desk lamp, it dawned on Declan that he had recently bought a painting studio with great lighting, and it might be better to paint there, and maybe other people would like to paint Warhammer there too.

So Declan set up a Warhammer club on Wednesday evenings that still runs regularly, every week, to this day.

After the early initial success of the club, Declan signed the ceramic painting studio up to be a Games Workshop stockist, tying together the painting elements of the pottery and the painting part of the hobby we love.

But wanting to grow further, in 2025, Declan founded a quarterly series of Warhammer 40,000 RTTs called SpeyHammer that has been a great success, and in 2026 launched a team, the Full Metal Jackals, with a group of other competitive players in the Highlands.

The next ambition is to separate the Warhammer club from the ceramic painting studio so that it has its own stand alone hobby store on the High Street in Grantown-on-Spey or somewhere nearby. 

But running a shop on a rural High Street is tricky, and we'll almost certainly need to complement it with online sales. So welcome to Dead Centre Gaming! While we wait to take the next step and bring a Friendly Local Gaming Store to our Highland community, we're in a position to take an online-first approach, and hope you'll see us as your Friendly Online Gaming Store.

We're going to start off with not too much stock on the website, especially not the full range of Space Marines, Orks, Necrons, or whichever faction you run. That will come in due course.

In the meantime, what we can promise is to have every major release from Games Workshop, hopefully with plenty of stock, so that you can come to rely on us as one of the best sources online in the UK for getting those in demand models and box sets when they come out!
